50% of the former 100 valuation points were given for the coat - it's colour, the lenght of the dog's hair and the quality of it. All that is very important for an easier care. Which other race satndard demands metallic colours on the body and a golden shock of hair being like the sun? The Yorkie owns a unique type of hair which is similar to the hair of human beings. That's why in contrast to other dog races - a change of hair does not happen. The result is that the Yorkie's hair grows and grows... Prerequisite for that are of course a halthy diet, enough physical exercises and a deep knowledge of the breeder concearning the Yorkie's race. |
