Who doesn't know this picture: people's best friend lies in a shady place with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. Every now and then there's a drip from his tongue and the Yorkie closes his eyes. Now at the latest, the dog fan learns that dogs also can sweat. But in contrast to human beings Yorkies do not have sweat glands on their body – they cool their body by using their tongue. But we who have a Yorkie can help make these hot summer days more comfortable for our little friends.
